Mummy Good Luck...

Ystd at around 8am somebody msg me... "pls pray for your mum, she is detected of cancer and is going for an operation on Thurs"... my first thought was that this person got nothing better to do... actually it was my aunt... at night den my mum told me bout the cancer thingy... she hav already known it since April... i feel that its a blessing that it is detected to be a first degree cancer... which is stil not serious... as long as it does not spread... luckily it was found out at this stage... heard that it was still curable... yup she's going to the operation room next Thurs... i left a note on her wallet wishing her good luck... hope she can feel that i still care though cuz ystd kinda blamed her for keeping this from us...

Ystd prayed for her too... during prayer suddenly the good things she done all appear in front of me... she said she knew the news around April... April was a rough month for me cuz of my relationship probs... was juz snapping at anybody who disturbs me and every day wil numb myself wif games and every night will juz weep in bed... my mum knows it but in order to save my face she never discussed it with me... i know she cares alot and worries alot bout me... cuz she met my ex one day and asked bout me... my ex told me my mum asking bout me... duno why i juz felt very touched when i heard it...

i can imagine my mum's feeling... I hav been through the feeling when i was suspected of a chronic diesease... when i hear it... i was so shocked and lost la... i thought im gona die soon le... i almost gave up studying also... totally no mood to do anything... cant stop the tears on my way home... but luckily my ex was there for me la... cried in her hug... she comforted encouraged and supported me... i managed to pick myself up... yup later in the year went for another few tests... they found my heart to be abnormal abit but its working normally... so i actually do not hav the diesease la... but i stil muz go back check up to ensure... i feel my mum is such a strong person... despite the fear she is facing she stil puts me first... instead of worrying bout herself... she was more anxious about me... haiz feel very guilty for wat i hav done last time...

Hmm nvm wats done cant be undone i can only treat her better in future lo... yea to be honest my relationship with my parents are alot better liao le... Hmm i hav faith that with God... i can say at ease that my mum wil return a healthier person after next Thursday...

Hmm nothing on my mind now... i juz want her to be safe when she comes back... Yup ppl when we're feeling down or fail or the times where u feel like life's meaningless... dun fret... theres something that wil be there to guide us... thats the love from our family... so honour your father and mother as they are our light... treasure them...

First things first i tink each week i wil change a new blog song... yup for this week is titled "Love, Me" by Collin Raye... its a touching love flashback between two ppl... hmm i feel this song is very meaningful... haha my bro and I loved it... Shows how wonderful love can be when it works out... even til the person is old... or even after the partner passed away... their love is stil strong... all the memories are as clear as crystal... quite touched by the song... haha hope u all wil enjoy it...

Ystd was a peaceful day at work nothing happen... the weird lady came back offered me some kueh haha very funny... tink no more problems frm her le ba...

Yup was talking to someone ystd for most of the time la... started off very well but towards the end we sort of disagreed on something...yup she ended wif a few words that really really hurt me... made me really look down on myself... i felt very lost after hearing it... been pondering over this... but its ok... i know to her... those were juz words...

Been practising the 4/4 strumming pattern... ytsd i listened to the tunes i play carefully... i realised that when i play some songs with their chords... they dun sound like the songs... for example when ppl hear the chords of the song without the lyrics they duno im playing that particular song... but with the lyrics added den they wil say ooooh... something liddat la... its juz an example... quite dishearted la... when i see others play... juz need to listen for awhile den can know wat they playing le... i tink there are two possible reasons... they used plucking while i used strumming... or my strumming pattern not correct... c how it goes ba... tonite i gona try again...

Haha my goal is to be something like Tank... not in his vocal or looks la... nowhere compared to him... but in his guitar skills... he said once, that if he knows how to sing it... he would be able to play it... and he uses plucking throughout the songs... so ppl will juz name one song... and he wil play it on the spot... haha like him alot... his songs are awesome too... yup hope i can reach that level one day... God aid me...

Haha never update blog for the last three days cuz i prefer to blog at work cuz at home i nid to use other methods to post instead of juz clicking new posts... yup haha wasted three days cuz spent most of my time on dota... haha alot of you ppl duno what is it ba giv u all a brief description :)

Haha ystd Dota Allstars 6.44 was released... there are 6 new heroes... some changes here and there... haha tried all of the 6 new heroes out... hmm some really requires training im not sure how to bring out the full potential of the hero yet... the thing about this game is that its played worldwide even working adults go to lan shop for one game lol... and also the improved maps are constantly being released with new items new heros... so will hardly ever get bored wif the same old things la... currently there are about 88 heroes le... erm so u hav to play the game 88 times to b juz an average player... haha but overall its not some lame game... cuz a single mistake can cost you your victory... it requires teamwork, strategy, skills, estimation and the knowledge of other heroes, cuz no hero is perfect as there will b some others which can counter you... yup been playing this game wif my friends milton wilson and guan soon nowadays... haha wilson is the most pro in the four of us la haha...

Abit of description bout these two haha... on the left in the cool armour suit and the fabulous muscles is a hero named Sven the Rougue Knight... haha its one of the good guys which in general known as the Sentinals... the one on the right... MY FAVOURITE HERO... Pudge the Butcher... From the looks he is obviously one of the baddies which in general known as the Scourge... haha I've been training Pudge for maybe a year plus le... i chose this as my main hero cuz i observed that this guy is on the top of the food chain... he is a predator with only two to three heroes that can counter it... and the way he makes a kill with his hook is very cool and ppl wil always b awed and say nice one... to anyone who wants to prove me wrong by saying that this guy is lousy haha feel free to initiate your challenge... haha try the game if u are not studying... but don't get HOOKED... lol (deeper meaning)

On the weekends continued with the tv series the return of the condor heroes... the story is accelerating at a fast rate haha and those exciting parts are coming up so fast... its very nice liao now do catch it...

Ystd talked to Bryan through the phone haha he told me bout some problems he faced la... this lets me know more about him la... and the way he attends to the problem really gains my respect haha... shan't elaborate more... Bryan take care le... as u said God wil bring you through this... haha next time we take a picture together den i post and let u all c him wahahah...

Hmm on my way here on the MRT juz now... I suddenly thought of the past days during my basketball years... frm secondary all the way to jc... how we persevered and endured in trainings... how we absorbed coach's teachings how we improved... how we made fun at each other during friendly matches... how we gathered under coach's words while panting hard during tournaments... the joy that we lost and won together as a team... i feel thats the magic of sports... its not the results its the processes... this brings a smile to my face... i miss those days... i miss playing...

Haha yup thats basically it ba.. nothing much liao le... Something knowledgable to share frm the book i read... do u all know that laughter contains some sort of "pain killer" elements... its like a drug where u get a high but this is the self produced drug by the body and its a good thing... it heals sickness and prolongs life... it is also found that tears also contain some of the "pain killer" elements too but wif other things also la... when we are sad our body produce these liquids to soothe ourselves... so we feel better after a cry... the water containing the elements produced in our eyes which are unable to drain off by the tear ducts in the eyes quickly, will leak out as tears... haha cool rite how the body works... yup stay happy ppl take care le...

Haha completed the book...

Hmm used a few hours of my Vesak Day holiday to finish the book, "Why man don't have a clue and women always need more shoes"... yup learned alot again... haha few quotes in the book are very funny too... for eg "A woman will worry bout her future till she is married... A man will worry bout his future after he is married"... haha in my opinion not all men are liddat la haha... apart frm this there are many other quotes too... awesome book haha learned a great deal...

Actually reading is quite fun too la... and doesnt take too long to complete one book... tink i used only bout 5 hrs in total to complete a book of about 300 pages... haha maybe next time visiting the library wil b one of my hobbies as well... wa come to think of it... its been so long since i last visit the library...

Oh on Thursday a weird woman lodged a complain on the noise level in the computer room... she came a few times already and i helped her a few times... so know her quite well... i call her weird cuz she usually talks to me bout things which im not interested... On Thursday she was using bout 15 min den suddenly stand up tell me i gona lodge a complain that the ppl there are too loud and using vulgurities... she said that her complaint have nothing to do with me... but she duno indirectly it does hav something to do with me la... but y didnt she come out and alert me... and tell me to do something about it 1st... im behind a glass wall leh... how am i suppose to hear things inside... and this is not her first visit... the noise level had been around the same since she was here the first time... after complaining... she came back, switched on the lights n started scolding ppl inside zzz... they kept quiet for awhile den was back to their usual noise level... i feel the way she doing things not good at all... everybody there is mumbling curses at her... ppl having fun ma of cuz sometimes these words come out... u lecture them liddat... how u expect them to listen... during the closing time i told them to kip quiet as a friend... tink at least it got through to them abit... with constant reminders suld do the trick... Wa speak of the devil she come today again... stil argue wif me zzz... wa kao make such a big fuss... seriously nothing to say bout her... she feels that the world should revolve about her... bleah...

NOW SPEAK... the man thought for awhile... he always wanted to visit his parents in Paris... but a plane flight is too expensive... and he had always enjoyed driving... so he said i wan a high way from Singapore to Paris... The genie being so tired said... SUCH A LONG WAY IS FAR TOO MUCH HARDWORK... CHOOSE ANOTHER WISH... the man thought for awhile... his relationship with his wife had not been very good lately... so he said... i wan to be able to fully understand women... Woo ystd Wee Ling lent me a book titled... "Why men don't have a clue, and women always need more shoes" haha the contents is bout the thinkings of the opposite sex... wat they really want each other to do... why men and women hav communication breakdowns and how to solve various problems... why do women do this why do men do that... etc etc la... alot la... basically this book helps the opposite sex to understand each other better to prevent future conflicts...

Haha ystd i started reading about naggings... why women nag more, why do they nag... wat are the consequences and how to solve the problem... gives me a great idea on why my mum nags at me... and theres actually more then meets the eyes... women who nag feels unappreciated and unimportant at home... they wil nag to reassure themselves that they are stil in position... and this often backfires and end up even more hurt and lonely... and the bad cycle goes on lo... yea actually quite sad la... if only i understood this earlier... its a very interesting and good book... yup im starting another chapt le... 7 things that women hate about men LOL cool... hope to finish the book asap...

Ystd went to tuition... no ppl de... cuz sch holidays coming le... and the ppl coming are taking lessons on chinese... as i am not very gd at teaching chinese... so my collegue took the students... haha den i juz hav to stay there and ans some questions... since free... i drew a pic of the couple in "return of the condor heroes"... actually was juz bo liao and juz scribbling rubbish on the white board la... haha den suddenly the accidental scribbling made the male character's facial expression very cool looking... as it was appealing to me... i went ahead wif the female character hahaha... Yup spent bout 45 min ba... but it really was very nice... i feel la... took some pics haha... I'll put it up here on Tuesday ba den u all can leave some comments... it was bout 98% completed le but can be improved la... den guess wat... Hao Boon arrived for the 2nd lesson... he come in den he immdiately wiped the drawings off... zzzz nearly plucked his head off lol... haha but i had a fun time there though...

Pastor Lia preached bout the vital points of having a revival in church... yup frankly to me im stil quite blur about the things she said... cuz tink she preaches too fast for me le haha... but i know wats going on la haha... haha great place to be in... makes u forget your problems and helps u to pick yourself up when your down... and so much more... haha cool place cool friends... u all rock...

Haha nothing much going on in my life now... but lately the songs by this band called "3 doors down" really captured my attention... haha they play rock music la... but not to the extend of heavy metal... but the part that really make me like them is the starting tunes of the music... it is done on a plug-in guitar ba... but really the tunes are really awesome... some songs by them which i really like include... Haha ystd never blog at all... cuz had quite a boring day la haha... was watching drama "Corner With Love" the whole day... cuz on Tuesday i finished the stuff i am required to complete for the month le... hmm quite slack lol tink they paying me to watch dramas... sometimes really felt abit guilty la so i told Wee Ling to giv me some things to do if she too busy... Yup finished about 5 episodes ystd... the story of the two is really very funny... sweet... and romantic...

Haha pictures in this drama... these two ppl hated each other at first cuz they are frm different family backgrounds... they will quarrel whenever they c each other... cuz they both are stubborn in their ways of thinkin and both like to "win" in quarrels haha... very funny la... den they slowly got to know each other better... became very good friends... and they end up falling for each other without knowing haha... then the way they express their love is so funny cuz they both ego very big haha... then the guy realised he liked her and was deciding to confess on Valentines Day den they end up quarreling again wahaha... but the way they quarrel is very sweet too... cuz they dun mean it and they know it haha... yup i only watched till this part... i tink trouble wil b brewing soon as the ex fiancee of the woman came back to find her haha... today i'll continue with it... hmm excited...

Haha ystd practised guitar from 1130 to 0100... i wil start by playing some church songs... den wil go on to secular songs... i printed alot of guitar tabs in my office... so everyday got new things to practise... i love to play... cuz the sound of this instrument really soothes my heart... and the fact that im seeing improvements really make me go on... oh ya my barre chords is getting more firm le no out of tune sounds le... haha happy happy...

Ystd heard that some of my friends were unable to get into the uni they want... i juz wana tell them dun lose any hope la... there are still ppl wif straight "A"s who were given a shot at all the universities... and hav not made their decision yet... means once they make their decision there wil b some places available again de... so write a good appeal letter... i hav a friend, i read on his blog that he loved weekdays... cuz its a chance to receive letters frm universities... i feel its a very good thinking cuz everyday marks a new beginning and a new hope... to them jia you le...

RED RAIN is coming le... its a really cool Christian rock and roll band... this band is having a concert in Singapore soon and they are gona rock the whole house... thier songs are awesome... im sure u all wil like it... cuz they are my all time favourites...

WAAA so many things to blog... lets start with Saturday ba... went to tuition... was very touched la... everyone ask... "eh Mr Su y u never come... y u never come..." felt greatly appreciated... hmm their results were back le... some did quite well... some improved alot... Wei Jie and Sek Heng my proudest students... did ok only zzz... was expecting far more for them sigh... some deproved abit... but stil ok la... on the right track... some pics of them again... lol so cute de...

Wei Jie stunned for duno wat reason... i always make fun of his clothes... if he wear doreamon i wil sing the song... den when he is embarassed... he wil laugh... den his face v cute den i wil laugh oso... wahaha...

Hmm den after tuition went to church... Pastor is preaching about a topic on sacrificing... U sacrifice for the things u love or your goal... Sacrifice out of your own heart... if you r unwilling then dun bother... cuz an act without your heart is hypocrisy... Yup to wat extend will u go to sacrifice for God... and how sacrificing makes a difference in life... Very inspiring sermon... Garrett added to this by saying "a sacrifice is not one when it does not hurt"... Haha after that went to eat... den went to Yamaha and bought a capo and the pick for guitar... so ex leh total $30 plus...

Sunday was a boring day la... stayed home and dota all the way wif Milton and Guan Soon... Hmm i feel that this game sometimes make ppl short tempered... even i get affected some times... like ppl ganging up to kill u den ur team mates never help u... den they wil start hurling vulgarities at u... scold u noob or wat de... sometimes i also get scolded... everyone got different perspective in the game... den sometimes really very pissed... i was thinking "you? wif such pathetic skills scolding me???" den i wil also scold back... lol... this is bad lol... really sub consciously its affecting you... haha... but now i try my best to kip quiet lol... tink next time gona limit myself at most 3 full games per day...

At around 2 pm i started practising guitar... haha i did a two full hrs of practise... and duno y after buying the capo... i was suddenly able to play barre chords le... its really the technique of placing your fingers... and straightening your finger... haha had an enjoyable time...

Oh ya one more thing during the weekends i watched "return of the condor heroes" its getting nicer le... the story is accelerating quickly as all the bad guys are appearing... cant wait for next sat to come again...

Monday... had CG in a smaller group... Bryan was playing the guitar... Garrett preached bout ppl who are wasters and the choices that they made which eventually led them to wasting their lives their time their money and so on... wasters are ppl who make the wrong choices... wrong choice of timing... the wrong choice of friends... the wrong choice of spending and the wrong set of thinking... yup life is all about choices... den he said something... if our pastors were wastors and did not start building the church... the whole of Heart Of God Church wil b wasted... and all the lives of ppl in this church wil not change... and we wil all become wasters if nobody preached the sermon on wasters to us... every decision in life makes a hugh difference... i was very impacted... never know how important the choices in life were... but now i know... and now u know... so make the right choices...

Yup today i spend bout 1.5 hr blogging le... so many things to say so happy and peaceful within... Haha something great to share... duno who said this forgot le either Bryan or Garrett... but they are both wise ppl.. talking to them can learn alot... here goes... There is no major choice in life that make a person who he is... a person wil b wat he is by all the small choices that he make... haha hope u all understand take care :)
